SF Capital Closes $4.125 Million Hospitality Bridge Loan in Monroe, Michigan

SF Capital’s Tony Talerico recently arranged a $4.125 million bridge loan for the Holiday Inn Express located in Monroe, Michigan.

The financing was secured through a bank lender and structured with a 5-year term at SOFR + 210 basis points, providing the borrower with a flexible financing solution for the hospitality property.

Hospitality financing presents a unique set of considerations compared with other commercial real estate asset classes. Hotel performance, operating history, brand affiliation, market demand, sponsorship, and the borrower’s business plan can all influence how lenders evaluate a transaction. As a result, identifying a lender that understands both the property and the borrower’s objectives can be an important part of securing the right execution.

For this transaction, SF Capital worked to identify a bank financing structure that aligned with the borrower’s needs while providing flexibility for the property’s next phase.

The Holiday Inn Express closing is another example of SF Capital’s ability to arrange financing across a variety of property types and capital sources. From bridge financing and permanent debt to acquisition and refinance opportunities, SF Capital works with commercial real estate owners to evaluate the lending market and identify financing solutions tailored to each transaction.
